Amy Wormald
Amy Wormald is visual artist and creative producer who is passionate about making and enabling art that connects with people. She started painting and developing her own creative practice in 2016 and has since exhibited across the UK, won awards for her paintings, and sold work to collectors around the world.

Following a BA(Hons) Fine Art from Nottingham Trent University, Amy studied for a master’s in arts management and enjoyed a successful career in arts development. As a creative producer she worked across art forms to connect people and communities to quality arts experiences.
Amy sees painting as a process for seeing and responding to the places we inhabit. She currently works from her home studio in Ely where she paints rural and urban landscapes using bold colour, tangy neons and compelling contrasts.
"My paintings are derived from plein-air studies which I develop back in the studio. I create work using acrylic, oil, spray paint, emulsion, pencil and collage. My landscapes are without figures but show traces of human presence or impact. I hope to capture a moment of stillness or contemplation in a landscape."
