Gail Hoban
Gail has a deep connection to the natural environment near to her North Essex home and wants to share her love of nature on the doorstep. She regularly wanders through local woodlands, inspired by tiny seasonal changes and organic patterns. She has a real thing for trees, lichen, mosses and native wild plants.

Following the seasons, Gail focusses on drawings that represent the intricate bare branches of winter trees. With paint washes that drift like mist through the branches. In the summertime Gail sketches and paints outdoors switching her interest to rewilded spaces and wild plants.
