Originally trained as a graphic designer, Karen produces a range of work that encompasses her love of colour and storytelling. From vibrant still life and landscape paintings, emotive collages, to bold surface pattern designs and illustrations, each piece hints at a feeling, a memory, a place once explored, a loved one now lost. Our connection to each other is often enriched by the objects we surround ourselves with and a lot of Karen’s paintings or designs will start with a family member’s favourite flower, or a forgotten story retold.
